For our Client - an international company operating in CMS area - we search a person for the position:
Regional Purchased Dept Director CEE / Dept Portfolio Acquisition DirectorKJ/PRDD/0710
Localization: HQ of client’s company in one of CEE countries
The Regional PD Director will be responsible for execution and handling of all matters relating to PD including:
- leadership, effective management and coaching of CEE regional Dept Purchasing team
- sourcing and development of purchasing opportunities within the CEE region
- reviewing and signing of all portfolio / transaction propositions and investment memorandums in accordance to Group policy and requirements
- constant review and verification of PD performance by portfolios/ clients / countries and region
- serving as quality assurance for all CEE Analysts
- compliance with PD Service Line standards and quality requirements in all stages of PD transaction
- providing knowledge and support to local marketing teams to facilitate the process of targeting and generating business leads and to increase the efficiency of service offering
- development of CEE and local market intelligence
- plan and execute on Due Diligence processes in cooperation with the local PD analysts and PD Service Line
- monitoring and controlling all bidding processes and related document flows, including cooperation with the PD Service Line for all matters of legal nature
- assist the local PD Analysts and PD Service line in matters relating to legal documentation,
- local monitoring, reporting and reconciliation of performance and risk exposure
Requirements for this position:
- minimum 5 years of experience on senior management position (preferably within financial services industry)
- good knowledge and understanding of :
- Credit Management Services and the Debt Collection industries
- credit processes of PD clients in the banking, insurance, consumer finance and corporate sectors
- clients’ accounting and finance processes, including invoicing, ledger and collection practices
- legal issues affecting collectability, such as court and execution processes and statutes of limitation
- the relevant Personal and Corporate Income Taxation as well as VAT issues
- very good negotiation skills at high level
- strong client relation management skills
- good oral and writing skills in English, including economic and financial terminology
- a very high level of IT and web literacy
- strong quantitative analysis skills, using spreadsheet and database tools
